My Little Spark

Lucy is such a character! She has her very own style and way about her. We took a moment this morning to capture a few poses. Notice the bear shoes that completely complement my old T-shirt that she is wearing. I'm pretty sure this ensemble is going to catch on like wildfire!

Blake Escape

This is one of our most favorite places to go when the sun is shining! Blake Island! We jet out there in our boat and the girls play for hours in the sun, sand, and water. It's like a mini vacation! This time we brought a couple friends. The little brunette is our neighbor Alice and Piper is the blond in the diaper. They had an absolute blast! I think we will be spending a lot of time there this summer!

so i have this friend who is amazingly talented. she makes all sorts of things from art work to jewelery. from head bands to hats to beautiful dresses. here is a picture of the girls sporting some of her finest work.

Look Who is 3!

Our big girl Lucy is three years old. I can't believe how fast time has gone by. We had a great time celebrating her birthday. We started with a small party at our house with her cousins and grandparents. Then on the day of her birthday we took her to Hi-Lo's 15th Street Cafe, for breakfast, where Lucy received the royal treatment (birthday mug, sprinkles and all)! Next she had a little celebration at preschool. Then to top it all off we took her to Chuck E. Cheese (she begged us) with Alexis, Camille, and Brookelynn. Here are some of the pictures we snapped while she was in action!

Lucy picked out her own outfit. She chose her "fluffy dress" which is the dress she wore on her first birthday (can't believe it still fits.... Sort of), her birthday cake pants, and her "tappin' shoes". I thought she looked absolutely stunning!

Once Upon Her Potty

Chloe is becoming such a big girl! She watches every move her big sister makes and wants to do all the things Lucy is doing. One of those "things" is going on the "big girl" potty. Chloe was a little intimidated by the toilet (it's really loud) so we decided to start with a little pink potty. She now has a chart that she gets to put stars on when she sits, does "number one", and/or "number 2"! Oh the joys of being a one and a half year old! Here are a few of her potty pics!

R.I.P. Good Dog

Here is a picture of the best dog in the world. Koby. He brought so much joy to his family (the Hartfords/my sister's family) and was truly loyal until his last day. If it was bedtime and one of the girls didn't want to sleep alone, he would lay with her. If they didn't want to turn off the kitchen light because they would have to walk through the dark, he would walk with them. If you told him to lay down, he would. He was a wonderful pet and friend! If I ever get a dog (haha that's funny) I hope it will be just like Koby.

Hey wolf, don't eat the lamb!

The girls had an absolute blast on Halloween! We went around to a few family and friend's houses to trick-or-treat. We also went to the fire station so that Ryan could see the girls in their spiffy costumes and give them treats. Lucy dressed-up as a werewolf-ballerina and Chloe dressed-up as a lamb. They were so adorable. As many of you know this was my first attempt at making costumes. I really enjoyed creating them and was so happy that they actually wore them!
